Same engine
The Windows app uses the same on-device recognition pipeline as the Mac app, so accuracy and vocabulary carry over.
Windows 11 · In development
The Mac app is shipping. The Windows app is being built now, on the same offline engine, and opens to early-access users first.
What to expect
The Windows app uses the same on-device recognition pipeline as the Mac app, so accuracy and vocabulary carry over.
Pro covers two devices. A Mac at work and a Windows laptop at home is one plan.
One key you never use, held or double-tapped. Fully remappable.
Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, Chrome, Visual Studio, the terminal. Text lands where the cursor is.
Intel, AMD and Arm PCs. GPU acceleration where available, CPU otherwise.
No cloud recognition. Credentials and licenses live in Windows Credential Manager.
Honest timeline
Development starts the week after the Mac release. Early-access builds go to people on the list, in the order they joined, as soon as dictation is reliable on a range of PCs. We will not publish a date we cannot keep. Buying Pro today on Mac gives you Windows the day it is ready, at no extra cost.
