Transforms

Rewrite on the way through.

A transform is a rewrite applied between what you said and what gets typed. Formal, half the length, bullet points, translated. Local by default.

Bind a transform to a second key, or pick one from the overlay. Say your rough version; the tidy version is what lands.

The default engine is on-device: Apple Intelligence on a Mac, or a local Ollama model on a Mac or PC. If you prefer a cloud model from OpenAI, Anthropic or another provider, connect it with your own key and every transform that leaves the device says so in the interface.

Transforms never touch your history, vocabulary or snippets; they only see the text of the dictation they are applied to.

Pro adds Cloud Polish, a managed option with no key to set up: the finished text goes to Vaitly's server, which uses OpenAI to lay it out as a list, an email or a letter, following what you asked for. It sends text only, never audio.
